Two Fledglings
This graphite drawing has two Great Horned Owl Chicks very close to leaving the nest. Once you see the second baby owl you will always see it. Initially it is hiding very well. This is a true representation of natures ability to use camouflage for survival. The image is 15x19 rendered on illustration board. It is being sent to Birds in Art at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in Wisconsin and to The Thompson Nicola Shuswap Chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists for adjudication.
It was accepted at The Thompson Nicola Shuswap Chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists Show. The show runs from April 22 to May 01 2016.
