ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRD:  Gift

One of the local hummers and a favourite of our neighbour who commissioned this.  The 'Anna's' part is the actual hummingbird's name; it's an Anna's Hummingbird.  Our neighbour's name is Terry.  I should speak of our neighbours now, what with the segue and everything.  Dereck and Terry are great people and terrific neighbours; they have become good friends.  Terry is mildly deranged when it comes to hummingbirds, but hell, we all have our things.  This particular bird was her all time favourite and she named him Darwin because he was so smart and I called him Jethro just to annoy her.
